Social Media Statistic from 2013

In 2013 Social Media gained an even stronger influence on society. With the huge growth of companies such as Snapchat, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google + and Vine, I am curious to see in what direction  those social media companies will go. An Infographic of the Top Social Media Statistics from 2013 released by Sparefoot  nicely sums up the evolution. (One interesting fact about why Sparefoot decided to create an infographic rather than using any other presentation supports is that: infographics are shared four times more than presentations and 23 times more than documents on SlideShare.)

Branded Vine videos are four times more likely to be seen than a regular branded video. What kind of impact can Vine have on the advertising industry?

Half of Twitter’s users are actually tweeting while the other half is only reading tweets. In which group do you belong?

Why 40% of LinkedIn users are buying a premium account?
